The Telegraph Magazine has published our recent shoot with the architect Cecil Balmond. Together with Anish Kapoor he designed the Arcelor Mittal Orbit – the observation tower for the London Olympic park. During the shoot we got a little insight into his interesting working and personal life.

Case Da Abitare – ‘Salone’ Special

Case Da Abitare are featuring two of my commissions in this months ‘Salone’ Special. The first is a profile on the Berlin concept store run and owned by Andreas Murkudis.

The second story, shot in Stuttgart, features the highly regarded designer couple Shay and Yael who are currently undertaking an artists residency at the Schloss Solitude.

Football for 11 Freunde

German football magazine, 11 Freunde, commissioned us for two projects in their April issue. Firstly photographing East London based football team Senrab FC who have a history of producing high quality, premier league football players, including John Terry, Jermain Defoe and Ledley King. The second commission took me up to Bristol to photograph long time Bristol City fan, John Darch, who is campaigning to bring back ‘safe standing’ at professional football games in the UK.

Harrods

This week we shot the interior of the new Apple shop at Harrods (with a little help from my new friends). Having started at 6am we had Harrods all to ourselves, though we still needed a copy of the floor plan just to find our way around.

Sustinendi event – sustainable water

A few days ago we collaborated with design blog ‘Sustinendi’ by filming a live event centred around the idea of water. The event was held in the premises of the Scandinavian design company ‘Vola’ in the West End. Four speakers talked about the concept of water, water use, sustainability and how to use water responsibly within industry. This included: Guy Battle, from Deloitte, talking about opportunities for the low carbon economy; Gary Lohan, from One Aldwych, talking about the use of water at the five star hotel; Sarah Snowden, from Method, talking about the ‘Method method’ and sustainable cleaning products; and Luiven Rivas-Sanchez discussing the use of water in the creation of textiles.

We also photographed along the bank of the river Thames during low tide. We managed to capture unusual aspects of life along the river and the constantly evolving water front. The resulting images were displayed at the event.

My travel piece on Cornwall and Devon has just been published by Lufthansa in their in-flight magazine. It will be available to read on all Lufthansa flight routes around the world. Thanks to the guys in Hamburg for a fantastic job. Here’s my image on the cover:
