C3 – OBI

A recent trip to one of the biggest DIY stores in Germany gave us an insight on how competitive this market is right now. Obi’s direct competitor Bauhaus, decided to open a brand new store right across the street for a bit more market share in their region. Some of the tactics used and enforced between the two sets of store managers resembled  more a comedy script rather than a serious business strategy. Our DIY experience turned out to be a fun day at the office and who knew that you could have such a enjoyable time in a Hardware store.
