brand eins – Raw Edges & Hugh Broughton

At the end of last year we covered an interesting double commission for our regular clients brand eins in Hamburg. The first story is about the interesting and exciting design couple Raw Edges. Their witty and inventive approach has led to collaborations developing products, installations and concepts for brands such as Louis Vuitton, Stella McCartney and Airbnb to name a few.

The second story is about Hugh Broughton Architects. Their international competition winning design for the self-sufficient scientific research base is now operational on a floating ice shelf 900 miles from the South Pole. Both sets of people have a remarkable sense of design understanding that leaves you with  a certain ‘wow’ factor by the time you’re finished snapping them. Both their next projects should yet again raise the bar, and we can’t wait to see how each finished piece will look in its dedicated environment. Out in this months issue!
