Sustinendi event – sustainable water

A few days ago we collaborated with design blog ‘Sustinendi’ by filming a live event centred around the idea of water. The event was held in the premises of the Scandinavian design company ‘Vola’ in the West End. Four speakers talked about the concept of water, water use, sustainability and how to use water responsibly within industry. This included: Guy Battle, from Deloitte, talking about opportunities for the low carbon economy; Gary Lohan, from One Aldwych, talking about the use of water at the five star hotel; Sarah Snowden, from Method, talking about the ‘Method method’ and sustainable cleaning products; and Luiven Rivas-Sanchez discussing the use of water in the creation of textiles.

We also photographed along the bank of the river Thames during low tide. We managed to capture unusual aspects of life along the river and the constantly evolving water front. The resulting images were displayed at the event.
