We had the pleasure of spending two days at Eroica Britannia in the Peak District recently. Known as the World’s Most Handsome Bike Ride, we joined thousands of riders on pre- 1987 bikes around hills and valleys, as the only none cyclists in the race. Navigating our car through narrow country lanes, dodging bike riders overtaking each other to set up shots for when they would come whizzing past, turned out to be our greatest challenge of the weekend. Gladly no official complains were received for our bad driving style by any of the participants nor the event organisers.
